Factors that influence the punishable acts of sexual abuse in children

Given the constant filing of complaints of punishable acts related to sexual violence, especially against boys and girls, in the fiscal units of the Department of Cordillera, it was possible to identify certain common aspects in most cases. This motivated the realization of this work, which is nothing more than an in-depth study in order to determine characteristics and/or factors that are useful for the best approach to the criminal investigation of this type of incident, as well as to the elaboration of prevention and care programs that allow reducing these illicit behaviors and, where appropriate, mitigating their consequences. To carry out the present investigation, forty of the eighty cases of Sexual Abuse in Children admitted in the period 2013 were taken as a sample, in the different fiscal units of the Department of Cordillera, in which personal and social aspects are identified. , of both the victim and the aggressor, as well as the outstanding elements on the way in which the reference event occurs, data that facilitated arriving at recommendations for the comprehensive approach to this type of event.
